Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp Tea Powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Cardamoms
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 3 cups Milk

Instructions

To start, begin by roasting the tea.

  1. In a heated pan, introduce 1 1/2 tsp of tea powder.
  2. Gently roast the tea over low flame until its color transforms.
  3. Incorporate 1 1/2 tbsp of sugar into the mix.
  4. This quantity of tea caters to approximately 3 servings.
  5. Continue roasting over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  6. Introduce 2 crushed cardamoms, 1 bay leaf, 1/4 cup of water, and let it boil for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Follow this by adding 3 cups of milk and allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  8. Strain the prepared tea into cups.

The smoky-flavored roasted tea is now ready to be served.
